Until Dawn is one of my favorite games where you can have not just two, but multiple types of endings. I will always remember the scares and difficult decisions I had to make in this game.
The best characteristics and elements of the game that made it a unique experience!
The game shows many elements that make it more interesting. First of all, in the beginning, they teach us what the butterfly effect is about and how the ending you get is because of the decisions you made before. Also, another interesting thing they added is the totems, which you can find in many scenarios and they provide you guidance on a possible future that can happen depending on your actions. Personally, some of them were helpful to me but others not so much.
Another thing that they show us since the first chapters are first-person scenes in a psychologist's session. This was a clever thing for me because what the creators did here is, first, making us ask ourselves who are we controlling there, and, second, they allow the game system to know more about us and, depending on our answers, some nice additions are going to appear in the next chapters.
What is interesting here is that this game is actually inspired by the stories and legends of the Algonquin tribes about the creature or spirit called Wendigo, which are people who resorted to cannibalism in order to survive.
Also, another incredible thing they used is that they put different kinds of things we have to collect and some of them are important for the game, as you keep playing the next chapters, many of them allow you to understand better the story of the Wendigos and some abandoned places, and other interesting facts that you can reveal.
As a final fact, I have to say that they used a consistent soundtrack that fits the situations of the game. This must be a horror game, and they succeed in using the instrumental sounds that help to keep the suspense too. And not just that, I think many would agree with me that their main theme "Oh Death" is beautiful for the introduction and ending.

This is something that might call the attention of many people, because some of the characters are actually interpreted by famous actors like Hayden Panettiere (Scream), Brett Dalton (Agents of SHIELD), Jordan Fisher (The Flash series), and, of course, Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, and James Bond: No time to Die). This game is actually fantastic and most of it is because it keeps you intrigued about what is going on. Without a doubt, a great game in many areas, where it contains a mysterious setting, and many features and even cultural and historical ones!
